Evans has had two great seasons for United, he's looked years above where he should be. This season he's started badly while one of our senior defenders has been constantly injured. Smalling may be a great player but throw him in at the deepend now and you can kill him. Add in Chicarito as another great signing.

Valencia has been a great signing and I didn't realise we were going to hang, draw and quarter Bebe already. Our scouts have seen him, our scouts who are paid hundreds of thousands a year to know how to rate a player. Thats good enough for me. Fergie has also been able to finally get Nani to the required level just like he did Ronaldo in the past.

United are ONLY second in the league (behind a team who have won four simple games), undefeated, having a slow start like they ALWAYS do. They're only top of their Champions League group again... All this while Ferguson has been hugely held back by financial restrictions.

Of course the notion is insulting to West Brom, Wigan, Stoke, West Ham and Blackpool. And deservedly so.

West Brom, Wigan and West Ham are simply piss-poor teams who lined up against Chelsea looking to lose by as small a margin as possible. For West Brom and Wigan that blew up in their face. For West Ham, they lasted a mere one minute and forty seconds before giving up.

Blackpool, too, but I really want to like Ian Holloway's team. It'll be difficult when they fare worse than the Hammers, collapsing after just 72 seconds. I do like Stoke, and you'd expect Chelsea to be beating them 2-0 anyway, perhaps it's just unfortunate for them that they were thrown in the middle of teams who just went out to play Chelsea solely with damage limitation in mind. That's not how you play football.

I'm not saying that Chelsea shouldn't be winning these games, I'm saying that I'd like to see teams put up a fight. Chelsea have won the games and that's all they can do. Let me say again that I am not criticising Chelsea as some seem to think I am, I'm criticising their opposition for not having the balls to give them a game. I do believe, as you've said, that Chelsea's first test comes this weekend.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea win, but I'm expecting it to be much tougher against CITEH. That's all we can hope for.

Nobody can deny, or would want to take anything away from the fact, that Chelsea are reigning Champions. (Did you mention that in your comment?)And Chelsea will be among the last two to be battling it out come May, along with Manchester United.

As for who will win that battle? Only time will tell. I just wish that teams would put in the same effort when they line up against Chelsea as when they play United.
